While the fashion industry is the #2 most polluting industry in the world, SSTEW3's inception came about as a method to solve this problem through science. The current world population is estimated at 7.9 billion as of April 2022 and we realize the impact that can come with clothing millions of people. While our design team currently uses 80% of recycled fibers in our collections, our team estimates to generate only 300,000 new garments in order to create a textile recycling plant in North America to ensure 100% of recycled fiber use to stimulate a truly circular economy.
